A show mapping the rise and demise of GIANTS through traditional stories, taking a loving look at the lives of the giants and their gradual departure from the earth.
As two very tall storytellers we have embarked upon a quest to find out what it is to be gigantic through the myths and legends that tell stories of giants. Our performance weaves Celtic and Nordic myths and folktales around a theme close to our hearts. We perform with musicians who are local to every performance.
Our first performance took place at Tradfest, at The Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh on 30th April 2017 where we performed with local musician Nicky Haire.
Some words from the audience:
“You were on fire! What a performance,” Katherine Bruce
“What a gorgeous night of story and music. Thank you.” Mairi Campbell
- Two hour Storytelling Performance with an interval

At TapRoot Lismore Music and Literature Festival in September 2017 we worked together with David Francis and Neil Sutcliffe.
In October 2017 we took our GIANT stories to the Scottish International Storytelling Festival where we performed them in the Royal Botanic Gardens as part of the Enchanted Garden Event.
The next time you can see GIANTS will be at ‘Growing Stories’ The Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2018, Storytelling Centre, Edinburgh on Saturday 27th October 3pm.
